Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.
I say, “Keep the
command of the king because of the oath before God.
But the midwives
feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live.

We must obey God rather than men.
Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also
for conscience’ sake.
1 Peter 3:13
Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
The wise man’s eyes are in his head, but the
fool walks in darkness. And yet I know that one fate befalls them both.
A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish
man’s heart directs him toward the left.
1 Chronicles 12:32
Of the sons of Issachar,
men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.
Wisdom is in the presence of the one who has understanding,
eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.
You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?
1 Corinthians 2:14
a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
And this I pray, that
your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,
For this reason also,
since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
But solid food is for
the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
