Ephesians 6:13-17

13} This is why you must take up the full armor^(A) of God, so that you may be able to resist^(B) in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. ^{Tools

with truth^(D) like a belt around your waist,
righteousness^(E) like armor on your chest,^(F)

and your feet sandaled with readiness
for the gospel of peace.^(a)

In every situation take the shield^(G) of faith,^(H)
and with it you will be able to extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the evil one.^(I)

Take the helmet^(J) of salvation,
and the sword^(K) of the Spirit,^(L)
which is God’s word.
