Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. He then performed the signs in the sight of the people.
Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘
I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.
Then they said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, or we will die.”
“Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When any man of you brings an
offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of animals from the herd or the flock.
In the tenth
You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it at twilight.
Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering;
Abraham said, “God will
provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” So the two of them walked on together.
1 Samuel 7:9
a suckling lamb and offered it for a whole burnt offering to the Lord; and Samuel cried to the Lord for Israel and the Lord answered him.
The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold,
the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
1 Corinthians 5:7
Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our
Passover also has been sacrificed.
And I saw
between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from
every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;
dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.
In the morning then you shall come near by your tribes. And it shall be that the tribe which
the Lord takes by lot shall come near by families, and the family which the Lord takes shall come near by households, and the household which the Lord takes shall come near man by man.
