Instructions For Consecrating Aaron And His Sons

¹¹ and thou shalt slaughter the bullock before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting; ¹² and thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it on the horns of the altar with thy finger, and shalt pour all the blood at the bottom of the altar. ¹³ And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the net of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.

Horns of the Altar

Exodus 27:2

And thou shalt make its horns at the four corners thereof; its horns shall be of itself; and thou shalt overlay it with copper.

Leviticus 8:15

and he slaughtered it, and Moses took the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and cleansed the altar from sin, and the blood he poured at the bottom of the altar, and hallowed it, making atonement for it.

Leviticus 9:9

and the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

Leviticus 4:25

Leviticus 4:34

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

Leviticus 5:9

and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the wall of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin-offering.
