² Six days, shall work be done, but on the seventh day, shall there be to you a holy sabbath-keeping, unto Yahweh, whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death. ³ Ye shall not kindle a fire, in any of your dwellings, - on the sabbath day. ⁴ And Moses spake unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel, saying, This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, saying,

Exodus 16:23

And he said unto them - That is what Yahweh spake. The observance of a holy sabbath to Yahweh, is to-morrow, - what ye would bake, bake and what ye would boil, boil, and all that is left over, put by you to keep until the morning.
