Of the tree
Out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow
every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”
but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.
Now therefore, restore the man’s wife, for
he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.”
For the Lord had said
of them, “ They shall surely die in the wilderness.” And not a man was left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
Cursed is he who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
1 Samuel 14:39

1 Corinthians 15:22
as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
