The Generations Of Heaven And Earth

³ God blessed the seventh day and made it holy. This is because he rested from all the work of creation he had done. ⁴ This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven. ⁵ No shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth. No plant of the field had yet sprung up, for Jehovah God had not sent rain on the earth. There was no man to work the ground.
