Jacob Goes Back To Bethel

² Jacob said to his family and those who were with him: Get rid of the foreign gods that you have. Wash yourselves until you are ritually clean. Change your clothes. ³ and let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.” ⁴ So everyone gave Jacob their idols and their earrings. He buried them under the oak (big) tree near Shechem.

Genesis 31:3

Jehovah said to Jacob: Go back to the land of your ancestors and to your relatives. I will be with you.
