And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
so much the more also Jesus has become the
guarantee of a better covenant.
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the
mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is
one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,
“ Incline your ear and come to Me.
you may live;
And I will make
an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the
faithful mercies shown to David.
And I will make
According to the
Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
For this reason
He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.
And He said to them,
“This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying,
“This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.

And in the same way he
sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood.
draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
By faith he
kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that he who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them.
Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
1 Peter 1:2
according to the
foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.
Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks.
He said, “What have you done?
The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground.
so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the house of God; yes, I tell you, it shall be charged against this generation.’
he shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; also in front of the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.
