And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house.
“Not so, with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My household;
“ Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’
the Lord said, “ Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?
“ He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.
1 Corinthians 4:2
In this case, moreover, it is required
of stewards that one be found trustworthy.
1 Timothy 1:12
Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service,
a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, just as Moses was warned by God when he was about to erect the tabernacle; for, “ See,” He says, “that you make all things according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.”
The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing,
The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.
with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me;
Moses said, ‘
The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren; to Him you shall give heed to everything He says to you.
This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, ‘
God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren.’
When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at
his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.
But now apart
from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
1 Peter 1:10
As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries,
Moses spoke to the sons of Israel in accordance with all that the Lord had commanded Moses.
“See, I have taught you statutes and judgments
just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it.
