But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.
Now He said to them,
“ These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
Philip *found Nathanael and *said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.
So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day
testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place;
For the Law, since it has only
a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near.
promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures,
but now is manifested, and by
the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith;
whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.
all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.”
When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at
his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.
The Scripture, foreseeing that God
would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “ All the nations will be blessed in you.”
