Seventy Years Of Servitude

⁸ Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, - Because ye have not heard my words, ⁹ Behold me! sending and fetching all the families of the North, Declareth Yahweh and Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon my servant, And I will bring them in against this land and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations, round about, - And I will devote them to destruction, and make them an astonishment and a hissing, and age-abiding desolations. ¹⁰ And I will banish from among them - The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, The voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, - The sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp:

Jeremiah 1:15

For behold me! calling for all the families of the kingdoms of the North, Declareth Yahweh, - and they shall come, and set every one his throne at the opening of the gates of Jerusalem and against all her walls round about, and against all the cities of Judah!
