Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house and proclaim there this word and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah, who enter by these gates to worship the Lord!’”
Then Jeremiah came from Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the
court of the Lord’s house and said to all the people:
The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has
My word speak My word in truth. What does straw have in common with grain?” declares the Lord.
Then Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord in the
chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court, at the entry of the New Gate of the Lord’s house, to all the people.
2 Chronicles 24:20
Then the Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people and said to them, “Thus God has said, ‘ Why do you transgress the commandments of the Lord and do not prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord, He has also forsaken you.’”
He was teaching daily in the temple; but the chief priests and the scribes and the leading men among the people were trying to destroy Him,
On one of the days while He was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes with the elders confronted Him,
during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mount that is called Olivet.
Early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to Him; and
He sat down and began to teach them.
Jesus answered him,
“I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and I spoke nothing in secret.
“Go, stand and
speak to the people in the temple the whole message of this Life.”
You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it.
and if anyone
takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.
Thus the Lord said to me, “Go and stand in the
public gate, through which the kings of Judah come in and go out, as well as in all the gates of Jerusalem;
which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the
people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
