Jeremiah 6:13

An Invasion From The North

¹² And their houses shall be turned to others, together with their fields and wives; for I will stretch out My hand on the people of the land, says Jehovah. ¹³ For everyone from the least of them even to the greatest of them cuts off a profit; and from the prophet even to the priest everyone deals falsely. ¹⁴ They have also healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.

Greedy for Gain

From The Least To The Greatest

Jeremiah 8:10

Therefore I will give their wives to others, and their fields to those who shall inherit them, for everyone from the least even to the greatest cuts off a profit. From the prophet even to the priest everyone deals falsely.

Jeremiah 23:11

For both prophet and priest are ungodly; yes, in My house I have found their evil, says Jehovah.

Isaiah 57:17

For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and struck him; I hid Myself, and was angry, and he went on turning away in the way of his heart.
