1 How hast thou given help to one of no-strength? given victory to an arm of no-power?

1 But Job answered and said,

1 Then Job (a)responded,

1 Then Job answered:

1 In reply, Job responded:

2 How hast thou given counsel to one of no-wisdom? or, effective wisdom, abundantly made known?

2 How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

2 “What a help you are to (b)(A)the weak! How you have saved the arm (B)without strength!

2 How you have helped(A) the powerlessand delivered the arm that is weak!

2 "What a help you are to the weak! How powerfully you deliver those without strength!

3 Whom hast thou taught speech? Whose inspiration hath come from thee?

3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

3 “What counsel you have given to one without wisdom! What helpful insight you have abundantly (c)provided!

3 How you have counseled the unwise(B)and thoroughly explained the path to success!

3 What counsel you provide to the fool! What insight you provide so abundantly!
