Yahweh Interrogates Job

³⁴ Can you lift up your voice to the clouds so that a flood of water may cover you? ³⁵ Can you send forth lightnings, that they may go? And will they say to you, 'Here we are'? ³⁶ Who has put wisdom in the ibis, or who has given understanding to the rooster?

Exodus 9:23-25

And Moses stretched out his staff to the heavens, and Yahweh gave thunder and hail, and fire went [to the] earth, and Yahweh caused hail to rain on the land of Egypt.

Exodus 9:29

And Moses said to him, "At my leaving the city, I will spread out my hands to Yahweh. The thunder will stop, and the hail will be no more, so that you will know that the earth [belongs] to Yahweh.

Leviticus 10:2

So fire went out {from before} Yahweh, and it consumed them so that they died {before} Yahweh.
