⁶² "Does this displease you? What then if you were to behold the Son of man ascending to where he was before? ⁶³  "The spirit is what gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words which I have been speaking to you, are spirit and are life. ⁶⁴ "Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was who should betray him.
