Also you shall observe
the Feast of the Harvest of the first fruits of your labors from what you sow in the field; also the Feast of the Ingathering at the end of the year when you gather in the fruit of your labors from the field.
“Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On
the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the Lord.
the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall observe a feast to the Lord for seven days.
You shall celebrate the Feast of Booths seven days after you have gathered in from your threshing floor and your wine vat;
1 Kings 8:2
All the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at
the feast, in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
2 Chronicles 7:9
On the eighth day they held
a solemn assembly, for the dedication of the altar they observed seven days and the feast seven days.
They celebrated the
Feast of Booths, as it is written, and offered the fixed number of burnt offerings daily, according to the ordinance, as each day required;
They found written in the law how the Lord had commanded through Moses that the sons of Israel
should live in booths during the feast of the seventh month.
Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will
go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
