After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
Judea and went away again into Galilee.
they were seeking again to seize Him, and He eluded their grasp.
no longer continued to walk publicly among the Jews, but went away from there to the country near the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim; and there He stayed with the disciples.
Just at that time some Pharisees approached, saying to Him, “Go away, leave here, for
Herod wants to kill You.”
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
“ Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”
For this reason
the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.
“But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.
But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’
