²⁰ So the people shouted, when the horns were blown, - yea it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the horn, that the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down under it, and the people went up into the city every man straight before him, and so they captured the city. ²¹ And they devoted all that were in the city, both man and woman, both young and old, - and ox and sheep and ass, with the edge of the sword. ²² But, unto the two men who spied out the land, Joshua said, Go into the house of the woman, the harlot, - and bring out thence the woman and all that she hath, as ye aware unto her.

Deuteronomy 2:34

And we captured all his cities, at that time, and devoted to destruction every city of males, with the women and the little ones, - we left not remaining a survivor:
