Burnt Offering Regulations: Animal From The Herd

² Tell the Israelites: 'When you bring an offering to Jehovah, bring your offering of animals from the herd or the flock. ³ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer it, a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord. ⁴ He should lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering. It may then be accepted for him to make atonement with Jehovah on his behalf.

Exodus 12:5

Your animal must be a one-year-old male that has no defects. You may choose a lamb or a young goat.

Deuteronomy 15:21

If it has any defect, such as lameness or blindness, or any serious defect, you shall not sacrifice it to Jehovah your God.

Leviticus 6:9-13

Command Aaron and his sons: 'These are the instructions for the burnt offering that stays on the altar overnight while the altar fire is kept burning.

Leviticus 3:1

If the sacrifice of his offering is a votive or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice as well as on the next day.

Moses led out the ram for the sacrifice to please Jehovah. After Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head,

Leviticus 8:21

He washed the internal organs and the legs. Then Moses burned the whole ram on the altar as Jehovah commanded him. It was a burnt offering, a pleasant aroma, an offering by fire to Jehovah.

Leviticus 16:7

He must take the two male goats and bring them into Jehovah's presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

Leviticus 17:4

is guilty of bloodshed. He has shed blood and must be excluded from the people. Bring the animal to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. Offer it to Jehovah in front of the Jehovah's Tent.

Leviticus 17:9

but do not bring them to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting to offer them to Jehovah. They must be excluded from the people.

Numbers 23:3

Then Balaam said to Balak: Stand here by your burnt offering. I will go to see whether or not Jehovah will meet me. I will tell you what he reveals to me. So he went alone to the top of a hill.

Numbers 23:10-11

God is a not man that he should lie. He is not a son of man who changes his mind. Does he ever promise and not fulfill? Does he ever speak and not act?

Numbers 23:23-24

For there is omen (spell) against Jacob, Nor is there any divination against Israel. At the proper time it will be said to Jacob and Israel: What God has done!

Numbers 23:27

Balak replied: Come with me. I will take you to another place. Perhaps God will be willing to let you curse them for me from there.

Numbers 23:30

Balak did as he was told. He offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

Numbers 29:8-11
