Burnt Offering Regulations: Animal From The Herd

⁴ And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, and he shall accept it to reconcile him. ⁵ He shall slay the young bull before the Lord; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall offer up the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting. ⁶ And he shall flay the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.

Leviticus 1:11

And he must kill it on the side of the altar, to the Aquilon before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle its blood round about upon the altar.
