Installing The Priests
2 Take Aaron, and his sons with him, and the robes and the holy oil and the ox of the sin-offering and the two male sheep and the basket of unleavened bread;
2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

3 And let all the people come together at the door of the Tent of meeting.
3 And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 And Moses did as the Lord said, and all the people came together at the door of the Tent of meeting.
4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
4 So Moses did just as the Lord commanded him. When the congregation was assembled at the doorway of the tent of meeting,

Clothing Aaron
7 He put the coat on him, making it tight with its band, and then the robe, and over it the ephod, with its band of needlework to keep it in place.
7 And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.
7 He (F)put the tunic on him and girded him with the sash, and clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the artistic band of the ephod, (a)with which he tied it to him.
7 He put the tunic on Aaron, wrapped the sash around him, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod(D) on him. He put the woven band of the ephod around him and fastened it to him.
7 Then he clothed Aaron with the tunic, girded him with the band for priests, clothed him with the robe, placed the ephod on him, girded him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it on him.
8 And he put the priest's bag on him, and in the bag he put the Urim and Thummim.
8 And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.
8 He then placed the (b)breastpiece on him, and in the (c)breastpiece he put (d)(G)the Urim and the Thummim.

9 And on his head he put the head-dress, and in front of the head-dress the plate of gold, the holy crown, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
9 And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
9 He also placed the turban on his head, and on the turban, at its front, he placed (H)the golden plate, the holy crown, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
9 He also put the turban(F) on his head and placed the gold medallion, the holy diadem, on the front of the turban, as the Lord had commanded Moses.(G)
9 then he set the turban on his head. On the turban at the front he set the golden plate, the sacred crown that the LORD had commanded.
Anointing The Tabernacle And Aaron, And Clothing Aaron's Sons
10 And Moses took the holy oil and put it on the House and on all the things in it, to make them holy.
10 And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.

13 (L)Next Moses had Aaron’s sons come near and clothed them with tunics, and girded them with sashes and bound (f)caps on them, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
13 Then Moses presented Aaron’s sons, clothed them with tunics, wrapped sashes around them, and fastened headbands on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
13 Then Moses brought Aaron's sons, clothed them with the tunics, girded them with the bands, and bound turbans on them, just as the LORD had commanded him.
The Offerings For Consecration
14 And he took the ox of the sin-offering: and Aaron and his sons put their hands on the head of the ox,
14 And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.
14 Then he brought (M)the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.
14 Then he brought the bull near for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering.
14 Next, he brought the bull for a sin offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the bull's head for a sin offering.
15 And he put it to death; and Moses took the blood and put it on the horns of the altar and round it with his finger, and made the altar clean, draining out the blood at the base of the altar; so he made it holy, taking away what was unclean.
15 And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.
15 Next (g)Moses slaughtered it and took the blood and with his finger (N)put some of it around on the horns of the altar, and purified the altar. Then he poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it, to make atonement for it.
15 Then Moses slaughtered it,(b) took the blood, and applied it with his finger to the horns of the altar on all sides, purifying(K) the altar. He poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so that atonement can be made on it.(c)(L)

16 And he took all the fat on the inside parts, and the fat on the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, to be burned on the altar;

16 Moses burned on the altar all the fat on the internal organs, the appendage on the liver, the two kidneys, and the fat.
17 But the ox, with its skin and its flesh and its waste, was burned with fire outside the tent-circle, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
17 But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
17 (P)But the bull and its hide and its flesh and its refuse he burned in the fire outside the camp, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
17 He burned up the bull with its hide, flesh, and dung outside the camp,(O) as the Lord had commanded Moses.
17 As to the bull and its fat, skin, and offal, he incinerated them outside the camp, just as the LORD had commanded him.
18 And he put the male sheep of the burned offering before the Lord, and Aaron and his sons put their hands on its head,
18 And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

20 And when the sheep had been cut into parts, the head and the parts and the fat were burned by Moses.
20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
20 When he had cut the ram into its pieces, Moses (R)offered up the head and the pieces and the suet in smoke.
20 As to the ram, he cut it into parts at the joints, burned the head, the internal organs, and the fat,
21 And the inside parts and the legs were washed with water and all the sheep was burned by Moses on the altar; it was a burned offering for a sweet smell: it was an offering made by fire to the Lord, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
21 And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
21 After he had washed the entrails and the legs with water, Moses (S)offered up the whole ram in smoke on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a soothing aroma; it was an offering by fire to the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
21 but he washed the entrails and shanks with water. He then burned the entire ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord as He had commanded Moses.
21 washed the internal organs and the thigh with water, and then burned the entire ram on the altar as a whole burnt offering, a pleasing aroma of an offering made by fire to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
22 And he put the other sheep before the Lord, the sheep with which they were made priests; and Aaron and his sons put their hands on the head of the sheep,
22 And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
22 Then he presented the second ram, (T)the ram of (j)ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

22 Moses brought the ram that is, the second of the rams for consecration. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
23 And he put it to death; and Moses took some of the blood and put it on the point of Aaron's right ear and on the thumb of his right hand and on the great toe of his right foot.
23 And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

25 And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat on the inside parts, and the fat on the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and the right leg;

26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread which was before the Lord he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of bread with oil on it, and one thin cake, and put them on the fat and on the right leg:
26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:
26 (W)From the basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord, he took one unleavened cake and one cake of bread mixed with oil and one wafer, and placed them on the portions of fat and on the right thigh.

28 And Moses took them from their hands, and they were burned on the altar on the burned offering, as a priest's offering for a sweet smell, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
28 And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28 Then Moses (Y)took them from their hands and offered them up in smoke on the altar with the burnt offering. They were an ordination offering for (Z)a soothing aroma; it was an offering by fire to the Lord.

29 And Moses took the breast, waving it for a wave offering before the Lord; it was Moses' part of the sheep of the priest's offering, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.

Anointing The Priests And Their Garments
30 And Moses took some of the holy oil and of the blood which was on the altar and put it on Aaron and on his robes, and on his sons and on his sons' robes; and made Aaron holy, and his robes and his sons and his sons' robes with him.
30 And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
30 So Moses (AC)took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

31 And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, The flesh is to be cooked in water at the door of the Tent of meeting, and there you are to take it as food, together with the bread in the basket, as I have given orders, saying, It is the food of Aaron and his sons.
31 And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.
31 Then Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, “(AD)Boil the flesh at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and eat it there together with the bread which is in the basket of the ordination offering, just as I commanded, (AE)saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’
31 Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket for the ordination offering as I commanded:(f) Aaron and his sons are to eat it.(V)
31 Then he told Aaron and his sons, "Boil the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. You may eat it there, along with the bread that is in the basket for consecration, just as I've commanded when I told him, "Aaron and his sons may eat of it,
33 And you are not to go out from the door of the Tent of meeting for seven days, till the days for making you priest are ended; for this will be the work of seven days.
33 And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.
33 (AG)You shall not go outside the doorway of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the day that the period of your ordination is fulfilled; for he will (m)ordain you through seven days.
33 You must not go outside the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the time your days of ordination are completed, because it will take seven days to ordain you.(g)
33 Furthermore, you are not to go out past the entrance to the Tent of Meeting until the days of your ordination have been completed, since it will take seven days to ordain you.
34 What has been done this day, has been ordered by the Lord to take away your sin.
34 As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.

35 And you are to keep watch for the Lord at the door of the Tent of meeting day and night for seven days, so that death may not come to you: for so he has given me orders.
35 Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.
35 At the doorway of the tent of meeting, moreover, you shall remain day and night for seven days and (AH)keep the charge of the Lord, so that you will not die, for so I have been commanded.”
35 You must remain at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and keep the Lord’s charge(Y) so that you will not die,(Z) for this is what I was commanded.”
35 Stay seven days and nights at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and attend to the service of the LORD, so that you won't die, because this is what I've commanded."
36 And Aaron and his sons did all the things about which the Lord had given orders through Moses.
36 So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
