²⁷ And he said to him, Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him in health. ²⁸ And he was angry, and would not go in. Then his father went out and entreated him. ²⁹ But he answered and said to his father, Behold, for so many years do I serve you, and never have I transgressed your commandment, and yet you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends.
