⁴⁰ And, the child, went on growing, and waxing strong, becoming filled with wisdom; and, the favour of God, was upon it. ⁴¹ And his parents used to journey yearly into Jerusalem, at the feast of the passover. ⁴² And, when he became twelve years, and they went up, according to the custom of the feast,

Deuteronomy 16:16

Three times in the year, shall each one of thy males see the face of Yahweh thy God, in the place which he shall choose, at the festival of unleavened cakes and at the festival of weeks and at the festival of booths, - and none shall see the face of Yahweh empty-handed:
