He appeared

While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace be to you.”

So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and *said to them, “

Peace be with you.”

and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

And upbraided

And He *said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him,

And Jesus, aware of this, *said to them, “Why do you discuss the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet see or understand? Do you have a hardened heart?

Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His

miracles were done, because they did not repent.

Jesus said, “Are you still lacking in understanding also?

But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread?

And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

And He said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

Then He *said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

Unbelief

The Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst?

Do not harden your hearts, as at

Meribah,

As in the day of

Massah in the wilderness,
