So then when the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received into heaven, and is set down on the righthand of God.

which is our righthand of God, and is gone into heaven: angels, power, and might subdued unto him.

Which son, being the brightness of his glory, and very image of his substance, bearing up all things with the word of his power, hath in his own person purged our sins, and is sitten on the righthand of the majesty on high,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, which for the joy that was set before him, abode the cross, and despised the shame, and is set down on the righthand of the throne of God.

{A Psalm of David} The LORD said unto my LORD, "Sit thou on my righthand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."

And it followed, when the time was come that he should be received up, then he set his face to go to Jerusalem:

until the day in the which he was taken up; after that he, through the holy ghost, had given commandments unto the apostles, which he had chosen:

Of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: that we have such a high priest, that is sitten on the righthand of the seat of majesty in heaven;

What and if ye shall see the son of man ascend up where he was before?

Since now that he by the righthand of God exalted is, and hath received of the father the promise of the holy ghost, he hath shed forth that which ye now see and hear.

But he, being full of the holy ghost, looked up steadfastly with his eyes into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the righthand of God,

who then shall condemn? It is Christ which is dead; Yea rather which is risen again, which is also on the righthand of God and maketh intercession for us.

If ye be then risen again with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the righthand of God.

And without nay, great is that mystery of godliness. God was showed in the flesh, was justified in the spirit, was seen of angels, was preached unto the gentiles, was believed on in earth and received up in glory.

Seeing, then, that we have a great high priest which is entered into heaven - I mean Jesus the son of God - let us hold our profession.

And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven, and in earth.

And he said unto them, "These are the words, which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you: that all must be fulfilled which were written of me in the law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms."

Before the feast of Easter, when Jesus knew that his hour was come, that he should depart out of this world unto the father; When he loved his which were in the world, unto the end he loved them;

"I went out from the father, and came into the world: and I leave the world again, and go to the father."

I have glorified thee on the earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Now come I to thee, and these words speak I in the world, that they might have my joy full in them.

Jesus said unto her, "Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my father. But go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend unto my father, and your father: to my God and your God."

When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon the son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?" He said unto him, "Yea Lord, thou knowest, that I love thee." He said unto him, "Feed my lambs."

Jesus said unto him, "If I will have him to tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me."

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up: and a cloud received him up out of their sight.

that is, to wit, Jesus Christ: which must receive heaven until the time that all things which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began, be restored again.

Then cometh the end, when he hath delivered up the kingdom to God the father, when he hath put down all rule, authority, and power.

which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him on his righthand in heavenly things,

Wherefore he saith, "He is gone up on high, and hath led captivity captive, and hath given gifts unto men."

whither the forerunner is for us entered in, I mean Jesus that is made a high priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.

Such a high priest it becometh us to have, which is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than heaven.

For Christ is not entered into the holy places, that are made with hands, which are but similitudes of true things: but is entered into very heaven, for to appear now in the sight of God for us.

but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, sat him down for ever on the righthand of God,

Seeing, brethren, that by the means of the blood of Jesus, we may be bold to enter into that holy place,

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and will sup with him, and he with me.
