A Paralytic Healed

⁴ And as they could not get him near to Jesus, on account of the crowd, they dug through the roof over the spot where He was standing and let the pallet down that the paralyzed man was lying on. ⁵ When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, "My son, your sins are forgiven." ⁶ Some scribes were sitting there arguing and saying to themselves,

And all at once some men were bringing to Him a paralyzed man, lying on a couch. And because He saw their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, "Cheer up, my child, your sins are forgiven."
