And just as He was saying these things to them, an official came up and fell on his knees before Him, and said, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand upon her and she will come to life." And Jesus got up and followed him; and His disciples, too. And a woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years came up and touched the tassel on His coat.read more.

And all at once some men were bringing to Him a paralyzed man, lying on a couch. And because He saw their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, "Cheer up, my child, your sins are forgiven."
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, "My son, your sins are forgiven."
When He saw their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."

So He sat down and called the Twelve to Him and said, "If anyone wants to be the first, he must be the last of all and the servant of all."
Now a controversy sprang up among them as to which of them might be the greatest. But Jesus, as He knew that the controversy was going on in their hearts, took a little child and had it stand by His side. Then He said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child on my account is welcoming me, and whoever welcomes me is welcoming Him who sent me; for the one who is lowliest among you all is really great."
So many of His disciples, when they heard it, said, "This teaching is hard to take in. Who can listen to it?" But as Jesus naturally knew that His disciples were grumbling about this, He said to them, "Is this shocking to you?
So some of His disciples said to one another, "What does He mean by telling us, 'In just a little while you will not see me, and yet in just a little while after you will see me again,' and 'Because I am going away to the Father'?" So they kept saying, "What does He mean by saying, 'a little while'? We do not know what He is talking about." Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him a question, and so He said to them, "Are you inquiring of one another about this saying of mine, 'In just a little while you will not see me, and yet in just a little while after you will see me again'?
