²² And one of the princes of the synagogue came, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet ²³ and *implored Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live.” ²⁴ And Jesus went with him; and a great multitude followed him and thronged him.
