The Birth Of Jesus Christ

²⁰ but after he had planned this, there appeared an angel of the Lord to him in a dream saying, "Joseph, son of David, fear not to take Mary your wife home, for what is begotten in her comes from the holy Spirit. ²¹ She will bear a son, and you will call him 'Jesus,' for he will save his people from their sins." ²² All this happened for the fulfilment of what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
