A Man With A Withered Hand Healed

9 Moving on from there, Jesus went into their synagogue.

9 (H)Departing from there, He went into their synagogue.

9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

9 Moving on from there, He entered their synagogue.(I)

9 Leaving there, He went into their synagogue.(F)

10 Suddenly, a man with a paralyzed hand appeared. The people asked Jesus if it was lawful to heal on Sabbath days, intending to accuse him of doing something wrong.

10 And a man was there whose hand was withered. And they questioned (f)Jesus, asking, “(I)Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse Him.

10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

10 There He saw a man who had a paralyzed hand. And in order to accuse Him they asked Him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”(J)

10 A man was there whose hand was withered. And they asked Jesus, “Is it lawful and permissible to heal on the Sabbath?”—they asked this so that they might accuse Him and bring charges into court.

11 But he asked them, "Is there a man among you who, if he had one sheep and it fell into a ditch on the Sabbath, wouldn't take hold of it and pull it out?

11 And He said to them, (J)What man (g)is there among you who (h)has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?

11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

11 But He said to them, “What man among you, if he had a sheep(d) that fell into a pit on the Sabbath, wouldn’t take hold of it and lift it out?(K)

11 But He said to them, “What man is there among you who, if he has only one sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?

12 How much more is a human being worth than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on Sabbath days."

12 (K)How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do (i)good on the Sabbath.”

12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

12 A man is worth far more than a sheep,(L) so it is lawful to do what is good on the Sabbath.”

12 How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful and permissible to do good on the Sabbath.”

13 Then he told the man, "Hold out your hand." He held it out and it became normal, as healthy as his other hand.

13 Then He *said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” (L)He stretched it out, and it was restored to (j)normal, like the other.

13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

13 Then He told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored,(M) as good as the other.

13 Then He said to the man, “Reach out your hand!” The man reached out and it was restored, as normal and healthy as the other.

14 The Pharisees, however, went out and plotted against Jesus to kill him.

14 But the Pharisees went out and (k)(M)conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.

14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

14 But the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.(N)

14 But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, discussing how they could destroy Him.

23 And all the crowds were astounded and said, “Perhaps this is the Son of David!”(U)

23 All the people wondered in amazement, and said, “Could this be the Son of David (the Messiah)?”

24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man drives out demons only by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons."

24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man (Z)casts out demons only by (w)Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

24 When the Pharisees heard this, they said, “The man drives out demons only by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”(V)

24 But the Pharisees heard it and said, “This man (e)casts out demons only by [the help of] Beelzebul (Satan) the prince of the demons.”

25 He knew what they were thinking and told them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.

25 (AA)And (AB)knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, (x)Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and (y)any city or house divided against itself will not stand.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

25 Knowing their thoughts,(W) He told them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.

25 Knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “Any kingdom that is divided against itself is being laid waste; and no city or house divided against itself will [continue to] stand.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

47 Someone told Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to You.”(n)

47 Someone said to Him, “Look! Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside asking to speak to You.”

48 He asked the man who told him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?"

48 But (ap)Jesus answered the one who was telling Him and said, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?”

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

48 But He replied to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?”

48 But Jesus replied to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?”

49 Then pointing with his hand at his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers,

49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, “Behold My mother and My brothers!

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples,(AW) He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!

49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples [and all His other followers], He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!

50 because whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

50 For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven, that person is My brother and sister and mother.”(AX)

50 For (g)whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven [by believing in Me, and following Me] is My brother and sister and mother.”
