Enemy

But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.

For we are not like many,

peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform

in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the wound of the sword and has come to life.

And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs

in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

Harvest

So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous,

As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

Come, tread, for the wine press is full;
The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “

Put in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.

“A river of fire was flowing
And coming out from before Him;

Thousands upon thousands were attending Him,

And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him;
The court sat,
And the books were opened.

and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well

when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,

It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones,
