² The kingdom of the heavens is like a man, a king who made a wedding for his son. ³ And he sent forth his bondmen to call those who were invited to the wedding festivities, and they did not want to come. ⁴ Again he sent forth other bondmen, saying, Speak to those who were invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and my fatlings have been killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding festivities.
