Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
Now the Passover and Unleavened Bread were two days away; and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to seize Him by stealth and kill Him;
Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching.
Now before the Feast of
the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
The Son of Man is to go, just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”
And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men;
“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death,
saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” But they said, “What is that to us?
See to that yourself!”
He is not here, but He
has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,
the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him,
Now Judas also, who was
betraying Him, knew the place, for Jesus had often met there with His disciples.
