Peter Denies Jesus Three Times

73 And a little later, those standing nearby came to Peter and said, "[We know] for sure, you also are one of them [i.e., Jesus' disciples], because your accent gives you away." 74 Then Peter began to curse and swear, "[I tell you], I do not know the man."
