¹ As soon as day broke, all the high priests and elders held a consultation against Jesus, to put Him to death. ² So they bound Him, led Him away, and turned Him over to Pilate the governor. ³ Then Judas, who had betrayed Him, as he felt condemned, in remorse brought back the thirty pieces to the high priests and elders,
