1 In those days comes John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 saying, Repent ye, for the kingdom of the heavens is at hand. 3 This is the one, who is spoken of by Isaiah the prophet saying, The voice of one roaring in the wilderness; Prepare ye the way of the Lord; make straight His paths.
