And one son to Ahimelech, son of Ahitub, and his name Abiathar, will escape and flee after David. And Abiathar will announce to David that Saul slew the priests of Jehovah. And David will say to Abiathar, I knew in that day that Doeg the Edomite was there, that announcing, he will announce to Saul, I was the cause to every soul of thy father's house.


And David will answer and say to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai, son of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai will say, I will go down with thee.
