And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
But all the congregation said to stone Joshua and Caleb with stones. But the glory and brilliance of the Lord appeared at the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) before all the sons of Israel.
But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.
For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.
And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.
The descendants of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord promised Moses the man of God at Kadesh-barnea about you and me.
Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as an inheritance.
Therefore, Hebron belongs to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite as an inheritance to this day,
Now to Caleb the son of Jephunneh Joshua gave a portion among the sons of Judah, as the Lord commanded him, namely, Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron).
So Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak.
Caleb said, “I will give Achsah my daughter as wife to the man who attacks Kiriath-sepher and captures it.”
And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, captured it; so he gave him Achsah his daughter as a wife.
Now it came about that when Achsah came to Othniel, she persuaded him [to allow her] to ask her father for a field. Then she [rode up to Caleb and] dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want?”
(Now the city's fields and surrounding towns they had assigned to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his property.)
And Caleb went against the Canaanites of Hebron: (now in earlier times Hebron was named Kiriath-arba:) and he put Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai to the sword.
Caleb said, "To the man who attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher I will give my daughter Acsah as a wife."
When Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, captured it, Caleb gave him his daughter Acsah as a wife.
One time Acsah came and charmed her father so she could ask him for some land. When she got down from her donkey, Caleb said to her, "What would you like?"
She answered, "Please give me a special present. Since you have given me land in the Negev, now give me springs of water." So Caleb gave her both the upper and lower springs.
Caleb received Hebron, just as Moses had promised. He drove out the three Anakites.
When the Israelites cried out for help to the Lord, he raised up a deliverer for the Israelites who rescued them. His name was Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.
Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.
We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.
The sons born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.
And, Caleb son of Hezron, begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth, - and, these, were her sons, Jesher and Shobab and Ardon.

And, Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez, - and, Haran, begat Gazez.
A concubine of Caleb, Maacah, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah;
she also bare Shaaph, father of Madmannah, Sheva, father of Machbena, and father of Gibea, - and, the daughter of Caleb, was Achsah.
These, were the sons of Caleb, sons of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah, - Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;
And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and the sons of Elah, ... and Kenaz.
but the fields of the city, and the hamlets thereof gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
And over those doing the work of the field for the service of the earth, Ezri son of Caleb:
