Then LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from LORD out of heaven. And he overthrew those cities, and all the Plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the Plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou go to Zoar. Behold now, this city is near to flee to, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (is it not a little one?), and my soul shall live.


The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot came to Zoar.


Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lay with him, that we may preserve seed by our father.
