And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
You have been rebellious against the Lord from the day I knew you.
They also provoked Him to wrath at the waters of Meribah,
So that it
went hard with Moses on their account;
So that it
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘ You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
When His disciples
James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”
Then Paul said to him, “God is going to strike you,
you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to try me according to the Law, and in violation of the Law order me to be struck?”
Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,
For we all
stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well.
Should flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Or should all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?”
Then they said to him, “
We have had a dream and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them, “ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”
Joseph then answered Pharaoh, saying, “
It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.”
However, there is a
God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed.
But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?
This man was listening to Paul as he spoke, who,
when he had fixed his gaze on him and had seen that he had faith to be made well,
Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found
reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.
1 Corinthians 3:7
So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.
