Numbers 8:12

Moses Consecrates The Levites

¹¹ and Aaron is to offer the Levites before the Lord as a wave offering from the Israelites, that they may do the work of the Lord. ¹² When the Levites lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, offer the one for a purification offering and the other for a whole burnt offering to the Lord, to make atonement for the Levites. ¹³ You are to have the Levites stand before Aaron and his sons, and then offer them as a wave offering to the Lord.

Exodus 29:10

"You are to present the bull at the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to put their hands on the head of the bull.

Leviticus 1:4

He must lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.

Then he brought near the sin offering bull and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the sin offering bull,

Then they are to take a young bull with its grain offering of fine flour mixed with olive oil; and you are to take a second young bull for a purification offering.

Leviticus 4:20

He must do with the rest of the bull just as he did with the bull of the sin offering; this is what he must do with it. So the priest will make atonement on their behalf and they will be forgiven.
