But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
Therefore I hope to send him immediately, as soon as I see how things go with me;
Paul and To Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus, all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons:
Timothy my fellow worker greets you, and so do Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my kinsmen.
1 Corinthians 4:17
For this reason I
have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every church.
But that you also may know about my circumstances, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you.
For I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts;
1 Thessalonians 3:2
and we sent
Timothy, our brother and God’s fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you as to your faith,
Therefore I have sent him all the more eagerly so that when you see him again you may rejoice and I may be less concerned about you.
1 Thessalonians 3:6
But now that
Timothy has come to us from you, and has brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always think kindly of us, longing to see us just as we also long to see you,
2 Thessalonians 1:3
We ought always
to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater;
hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints;
3 John 1:3
was very glad when brethren came and testified to your truth, that is, how you are walking in truth.
