How To Avoid Fools And Foolishness

¹¹ The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as a high wall in his own mind. ¹² Before shattering, the heart of man is proud, and before honor is humility. ¹³ If one answers a matter before he hears, it is folly and shame to him.

Proverbs 11:2

Pride comes, then shame comes; but with the lowly is wisdom.

Proverbs 15:33

The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

A man's pride shall bring him low; but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Ezekiel 28:2
