1 Bless Yahweh, O my soul. O Yahweh my God, you are very great. You clothe yourself [with] splendor and majesty,

1 Bless the LORD, my soul; LORD, my God, you are very great. You are clothed in splendor and majesty;
3 the one who sets beams in the waters [for] his upper chambers, who makes clouds his chariot, who rides on [the] wings of [the] wind,
3 (a)He (E)lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters;(b)He makes the (F)clouds His chariot;(c)He walks upon the (G)wings of the wind;
3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
3 laying the beams of His palaceon the waters above,(C)making the clouds His chariot,(D)walking on the wings of the wind,(E)
3 He lays the beams of his roof loft on the water above, making clouds his chariot, walking on the wings of the wind.
9 You set a boundary that they may not cross over, [so that] they would not return to cover the earth.
9 You set a (O)boundary that they may not pass over,So that they will not return to cover the earth.
9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
9 You have set a boundary they cannot cross; they will never again cover the earth.
12 Along them the birds of the heavens abide. From among [the] branches they {sing}.
12 (i)Beside them the birds of the heavens (S)dwell;They (j)lift up their voices among the branches.
12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
12 Birds of the sky live beside them and chirp a song among the foliage.
13 [You are the one who] {waters} [the] mountains from his upper chambers. The earth is full with the fruit of your labors:
13 (k)He (T)waters the mountains from His upper chambers;(U)The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.
13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
13 He waters the mountains from his heavenly rooms; the earth is satisfied from the fruit of your work.
14 [who] causes grass to grow for the cattle and herbs for the service of humankind, to bring forth food from the earth,
14 (l)He causes the (V)grass to grow for the (m)cattle,And (W)vegetation for the (n)labor of man,So that (o)he may bring forth (p)food (X)from the earth,
14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
14 He causes grass to grow for the livestockand provides crops for man to cultivate,producing food from the earth,(P)
14 He causes grass to sprout for the cattle and plants for people to cultivate, to produce food from the land,
15 and wine [that] makes glad [the] heart of man, so that [their] faces shine from oil, and bread [that] strengthens the heart of man.
15 And (Y)wine which makes man’s heart glad,(Z)So that he may make his face glisten with oil,And (q)food which (AA)sustains man’s heart.
15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
15 wine that makes man’s heart glad—making his face shine with oil—and bread that sustains man’s heart.(Q)
15 like wine that makes the heart of people happy, oil that makes the face glow, and food that sustains people.
18 The high mountains [are] for the wild goats; [the] cliffs [are] a refuge for the rock badgers.
18 The high mountains are for the (AD)wild goats;The (AE)cliffs are a refuge for the (t)(AF)shephanim.
18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
18 The high mountains are for wild goats; the cliffs are a refuge for the rock badger.
20 You make darkness, and it is night, when all [the] animals of the forest creep about.
20 You (AI)appoint darkness and it becomes night,In which all the (AJ)beasts of the forest (u)prowl about.
20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
20 You bring darkness and it becomes night; when every beast of the forest prowls.
24 How many are your works, O Yahweh; all of them you have done in wisdom. The earth is full of your creatures.
24 O Lord, how (AO)many are Your works!(w)In (AP)wisdom You have made them all;The (AQ)earth is full of Your (x)possessions.
24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
24 How countless are Your works, Lord!In wisdom You have made them all;the earth is full of Your creatures.(f)(Z)
24 How numerous are your works, LORD! You have made them all wisely; the earth is filled with your creations.
25 This [is] the great and {wide} sea, in which [are] moving animals without number, living things small and great.
25 (y)There is the (AR)sea, great and (z)broad,In which are swarms without number,Animals both small and great.
25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
25 Here is the sea, vast and wide,teeming with creatures beyond number—living things both large and small.(AA)
25 There is the deep and wide sea, teeming with numberless creatures, living things small and great.
28 You give to them; they gather [it]. You open your hand, they are filled with [what is] good.
28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
28 When You give it to them,they gather it;when You open Your hand,they are satisfied with good things.(AD)
28 They receive what you give them; when you open your hand, they are filled with good things.
29 You hide your face, they are terrified. You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
29 You (AX)hide Your face, they are dismayed;You (AY)take away their (ac)spirit, they expireAnd (AZ)return to their dust.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
29 When You hide Your face,they are terrified;when You take away their breath,they die and return to the dust.(AE)
29 When you withdraw your favor, they are disappointed; Take away their breath, and they die and return to dust.
33 I will sing to Yahweh throughout my life; I will sing praise to my God while {I remain alive}.
33 (af)I will sing to the Lord (ag)(BG)as long as I live;(ah)I will (BH)sing praise to my God (ai)while I have my being.
33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
33 I will sing to the LORD with my whole being; I will sing to my God continually!
35 Let sinners perish completely from the earth, and [the] wicked {not remain alive}. Bless Yahweh, O my soul. Praise Yah.
35 Let sinners be (BK)consumed from the earthAnd let the (BL)wicked be no more.(BM)Bless the Lord, O my soul.(aj)(BN)Praise (ak)the Lord!
35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
35 May sinners vanish from the earthand wicked people be no more.(AK)My soul, praise Yahweh!Hallelujah!
35 May sinners disappear from the land and the wicked live no longer. Bless the LORD, my soul! Hallelujah!
