1 I will lift up my soul to you, LORD.

2 My God, in Thee I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed, Let not mine enemies exult over me.

2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

2 O my God, in You (B)I trust,Do not let me (C)be ashamed;Do not let my (D)enemies exult over me.

2 My God, I trust in You.Do not let me be disgraced;(B)do not let my enemies gloat over me.(C)

2 I trust in you, my God, do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies triumph over me.

3 Also let none waiting on Thee be ashamed, Let the treacherous dealers without cause be ashamed.

3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

3 Indeed, (E)none of those who wait for You will be ashamed;(a)Those who (F)deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.

3 No one who waits for Youwill be disgraced;(D)those who act treacherously without causewill be disgraced.(E)

3 Indeed, no one who waits on you will be ashamed, but those who offend for no reason will be put to shame.

4 Thy ways, O Jehovah, cause me to know, Thy paths teach Thou me.

4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

4 (G)Make me know Your ways, O Lord;Teach me Your paths.

4 Make Your ways known to me, Lord;teach me Your paths.(F)

4 Cause me to understand your ways, LORD; teach me your paths.

5 Cause me to tread in Thy truth, and teach me, For Thou art the God of my salvation, Near Thee I have waited all the day.

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

5 Guide me in Your truth and teach me,(G)for You are the God of my salvation;(H)I wait for You all day long.(I)

5 Guide me in your truth and teach me; for you are the God who delivers me. All day long I have waited for you.

6 Remember Thy mercies, O Jehovah, And Thy kindnesses, for from the age are they.

6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

6 (K)Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses,For they have been (b)(L)from of old.

6 Remember, Lord, Your compassionand Your faithful love,for they have existed from antiquity.(c)(J)

6 Remember, LORD, your tender mercies and your gracious love; indeed, they are eternal!

7 Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, Do not Thou remember. According to Thy kindness be mindful of me, For Thy goodness' sake, O Jehovah.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

7 Do not remember the (M)sins of my youth or my transgressions;(N)According to Your lovingkindness remember me,For Your (O)goodness’ sake, O Lord.

7 Do not remember the sins of my youth(K)or my acts of rebellion;(L)in keeping with Your faithful love, remember mebecause of Your goodness, Lord.(M)

7 Do not remember my youthful sins and transgressions; but remember me in light of your gracious love, in light of your goodness, LORD.

8 Good and upright is Jehovah, Therefore He directeth sinners in the way.

8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

8 (P)Good and (Q)upright is the Lord;Therefore He (R)instructs sinners in the way.

8 The Lord is good and upright;(N)therefore He shows sinners the way.(O)

8 The LORD is good and just; therefore he will teach sinners concerning the way.

9 He causeth the humble to tread in judgment, And teacheth the humble His way.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

9 He (S)leads the (c)humble in justice,And He (T)teaches the (d)humble His way.

9 He leads the humble in what is right(P)and teaches them His way.(Q)

9 He will guide the humble to justice; he will teach the humble his way.

10 All the paths of Jehovah are kindness and truth, To those keeping His covenant, And His testimonies.

10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

10 All the paths of the Lord are (U)lovingkindness and truthTo (V)those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

10 All the Lord’s ways show faithful love and truthto those who keep His covenant and decrees.(R)

10 All the paths of the LORD lead to gracious love and truth for those who keep his covenant and his decrees.

11 For Thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Thou hast pardoned mine iniquity, for it is great.

11 For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

11 For (W)Your name’s sake, O Lord,(X)Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

11 Because of Your name, Yahweh,forgive my sin, for it is great.(S)

11 For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my sin, for it is great.

12 Who is this -- the man fearing Jehovah? He directeth him in the way He doth choose.

12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

12 Who is the man who (Y)fears the Lord?He will (Z)instruct him in the way he should choose.

12 Who is the man who fears the Lord?(T)He will show him the way he should choose.(U)

12 Who is the man who fears the LORD? God will teach him the path he should choose.

13 His soul in good doth remain, And his seed doth possess the land.

13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

13 His soul will (AA)abide in (e)prosperity,And his (f)descendants will (AB)inherit the (g)land.

13 He will live a good life,and his descendants will inherit the land.(d)(V)

13 He will experience good things; his descendants will inherit the earth.

14 The secret of Jehovah is for those fearing Him, And His covenant -- to cause them to know.

14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

14 The (h)(AC)secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him,(i)And He will (AD)make them know His covenant.

14 The secret counsel of the Lordis for those who fear Him,and He reveals His covenant to them.(W)

14 The intimate counsel of the LORD is for those who fear him so they may know his covenant.

15 Mine eyes are continually unto Jehovah, For He bringeth out from a net my feet.

15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

15 My (AE)eyes are continually toward the Lord,For He will (j)(AF)pluck my feet out of the net.

15 My eyes are always on the Lord,for He will pull my feet out of the net.(X)

15 My eyes look to the LORD continuously, because he's the one who releases my feet from the trap.

16 Turn Thou unto me, and favour me, For lonely and afflicted am I.

16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

17 The distresses of my heart have enlarged themselves, From my distresses bring me out.

20 Keep my soul, and deliver me, Let me not be ashamed, for I trusted in Thee.
