1 Happy [is] he whose transgression is taken away, whose sin is covered.

2 Happy [is] a person to whom Yahweh does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is not deceit.
2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
2 How blessed is the man to whom the Lord (B)does not impute iniquity,And in whose spirit there is (C)no deceit!
2 How blessed is the person against whom the LORD does not charge iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3 When I kept silent, my bones were worn out due to my groaning all the day.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me. My vigor was changed into [the] dry heat of summer. Selah

5 I made known my sin to you, and my iniquity I did not cover. I said, "I will confess concerning my transgressions to Yahweh," and you took away the guilt of my sin. Selah
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 Therefore let all [the] faithful pray to you at [the] time [for] finding [you]. Surely at [the] flood of many waters they will not reach him.
6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
6 Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You (g)(M)in a time when You may be found;Surely (N)in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.

6 Therefore every godly person should pray to you at such a time. Surely a flood of great waters will not reach him.
7 You [are] my hiding place; from trouble you preserve me. [With] cries of deliverance you surround me. Selah
7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

9 Do not be like a horse [or] like a mule, without understanding; [that needs] his tackle--bridle and rein--for restraint [or he would not] come near you.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

10 Many are [the] pains of the wicked, but [for] the one who trusts Yahweh loyal love surrounds him.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
10 Many are the (U)sorrows of the wicked,But (V)he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.
10 Many pains come to the wicked,(O)but the one who trusts in the Lordwill have faithful love surrounding him.(P)
10 The wicked have many sorrows, but gracious love surrounds those who trust in the LORD.
11 Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, [you] righteous, and shout for joy, all [you] upright of heart.
11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
11 Be (W)glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones;And shout for joy, all you who are (X)upright in heart.
