Praise For God's Protection

1 {To the Chanter, Destroy Not, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul into the cave} Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me, for my soul trusteth in thee: and under the shadow of thy wings shall be my refuge, until this tyranny be overpast.

1 Have mercy on me, God, have mercy, for in you I have placed my trust. Even in the shadow of your wings will I find my refuge until this calamity passes.

2 I will call unto the Most High God, even unto the God that shall perform the cause which I have in hand.

5 Set up thyself, O God, above the heavens, and thy glory above all the earth.

5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
