Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.
cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him There He a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet. made for them a statute and regulation, and there He tested them.
Moses entreated the Lord his God, and said, “O Lord, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?
Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘
Bring up this people!’ But You Yourself have not let me know whom You will send with me. Moreover, You have said, ‘I have known you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight.’
But Moses said to the Lord, “Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought up this people from their midst,
Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly.”
1 Samuel 7:9

though Moses and Samuel were to stand before Me, My heart would not be with this people; send them away from My presence and let them go!
